“Youngest Woman Billionaire Made Fortune Flipping Burgers,” aka inheriting it from her parents.

Big business news this week as Bloomberg reported a new record for youngest female billionaire in the U.S. ABC’s fine reportage  (quoted in the headline) claims that she made her fortune flipping burgers, which actually means just inheriting an already-profitable business from her parents. Lynsi Torres is the president and owner of In-N-Out Burger at the young age of 30. It’s unclear how much control Ms. Torres has in the operations of the company, but I’m happy to hear another lady is topping a Bloomberg list of the rich and powerful. But let’s be real and acknowledge that she, like many other rich and powerful, got a lot of help from her parents.

Side note: she’s also a hot rod racer.
