Green Mountain State Honors Women Workers with ‘Labor of Love’ Exhibit

As if rolling hills, maple syrup, and cheddar cheese weren’t enough to win my affections, the Great State of Vermont has found another way to be better than pretty much everywhere else. Next week the Statehouse will open ‘Labor of Love’ an exhibit on women and work.

The show features images of  Lady Vermonters who are passionate about the work they do, including farmers, tattoo artists, doctors, among others. The exhibit is sponsored by Vermont Works for Women, a nonprofit that “helps women and girls recognize their potential and explore, pursue and excel in work that leads to economic independence.”
